On this week’s Inside Fight Sports update we take a look at Saturday night’s Strikeforce card, which features Santa Cruz’s very own Luke Rockhold (8-1-0, 1 KO, 6 submissions) defending his middleweight title against MMA veteran “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine (17-9-2, 8 KOs, 2 submissions) as the night’s main event.
We caught up with Rockhold, Nor Cal’s #9 ranked pound-for-pound fighter, in San Jose at the American Kickboxing Academy. He told us how his life has been since being champ, what his plans are for his future in MMA and he talks about his fight with the “Dean of Mean”.
Also on that card, and fighting out of AKA, is light-heavyweight Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal (8-1-0, 6 KOs). He will be taking on the highly touted, undefeated Larenz Larkin (12-0, 8 KOs). King Mo discusses what he sees in Larkin and if there is any resemblance between the two.
