King Mo finds new home(s)

It's been several months since one of mixed martial arts' most interesting characters was left without a home. It seems now that he's found two.

Former Strikeforce Champion Mohammad "King Mo" Lawal has reportedly signed with not one, but two organizations. The AKA light-heavyweight will be taking his skills to Bellator FC and TNA Impact Wrestling. In a move that will send shockwaves through the MMA community, Lawal will now blur the line that separates MMA and "pro wrestling" as much as some promotions in Japan have.

Lawal has always spoken about his affection for pro wrestling, even going as far as to list several as inspirations for his career. In recent interviews since his release from ZUFFA LLC., Mo has said that he'd be open to pro wrestling if the money and opportunity were right.

With these new deals, Lawal can maintain his competitive passion in MMA but also live out a childhood dream in pro wrestling.

Details of his contract aren't currently available, but @FrontRowBrian has said that the terms were more lucrative than Mo's 4-fight 90/30 deal with Strikeforce.

This move could open the doors for many fighters to compete in MMA and pro wrestling if they choose to do so.
