No UFC? No Strikeforce? No problem. There might not be any big fights this weekend, but Inside Fight Sports always has news for Northern California fight fans.
This week we introduce you to a fighter all fight fans
should know. Oakland’s own “The Fallen Angel” Dominique Robinson fights out of
Dublin’s Combat Sports Academy and is a fighter on the rise in mixed martial
arts. He is more than just a fighter and was glad to speak to Comcast SportsNet
about who Dominique Robinson is.
We got the chance to talk to him about who Dominique
Robinson is as a person and a fighter. He also opens up to IFS about his life growing up and where his nickname, “The Fallen
Angel”, comes from. It is a story and a background that will make even the most
cynical MMA fan begin to follow his career.
As intriguing as a person Robinson is, his fight career is
just as interesting. He breaks down his opponent for Superior Cage Combat 4 on
February 16. Along with coaches, Taylor McCorriston and Val Ignatov, “The
Fallen Angel” breaks down what he expects from Paulo Gonclaves Silva. The trio
breaks down Robinson’s wrestling, mind-set and overall growth as a fighter
since he’s been part of the CSA family.
That does it for this week’s Inside Fight Sports update. Follow us on Twitter @FightSportsCSN
